About me

Hi! My name is Grace Gaume

       I'm a senior at the University of Kansas and grew up in Mission Hills, KS. I'm studying Journalism with an emphasis on Multimedia Journalism and Digital Marketing and Communications; I also turned my movie-watching hobby into a Film and Media Studies minor. 
       Despite its flyover state stereotype, Kansas has a huge piece of my heart. ️Most of my storytelling inspiration comes from its communities, the vibrant souls that make it tick. I hope to use my skills to inform and empower the people of KC and Lawrence, one well-crafted piece at a time.
       My creativity flourishes when I can mix and match mediums to tell stories. Writing and video editing are where I thrive. When my laptop closes, you'll find me eating popcorn at the movie theater, struggling to walk my energetic puppy in the park, or museum-hopping around the city. ️
